Mothers Day is Coming

So many things to say - so little time. Since I am juggling three projects, two of which have deadlines thus my free writing time is scarce. Just to keep things moving, so folks won’t wonder if I’ve finally made good my long standing promise to quit,  today I’m going to repost a favorite from last year. :-)

Be Blessed.

For Him,
Meema

    1. Mother is on sabbatical. She had to rest up from her beach trip last year. ;-]

    1. Not sure these are good projects. Challenging is more like it. Had to take the weekend off and so tomorrow is looming. I have to double up now. I hate deadlines!

  3. I found this blog from a link and I spent some time reading older posts. I like your style but I don’t quite understand your focus. Sometimes you talk about really serious controversial things and sometimes your posts are philosophical, for want of a better word. I don’t blog myself so I can’t even say what a blog should be but the blogs I follow usually have a main theme. I can’t figure yours out and I am not sure what Bags All Packed means.

I’m not trying to be mean or anything, just wondering.

    1. Perfectly fair questions. First things first - Bags All Packed is just the declaration of an attitude. I am ready to go, without notice. While my flesh is bound by gravity and worldly obligations, my soul lives out of a loosely packed bag of basic essentials, ready to move on to the Promise, that I accepted in faith, when God chooses to call me home. When that day comes I won’t even need the bag anymore either.
And I have to laugh because you are not the first to point out that either I am bi-polar or have a split personality. But here’s the thing - life is completely random most of the time so since this blog is mostly representative of me talking to myself so I express my thoughts on whatever comes as it comes. I’m nothing if not well-rounded, if a tad ADD as I age.
      Look a squirrel!
Every day I wake up wondering what the day will bring. I’m never bored because there’s always something to think about, to question, to challenge. I read, read, read. I write way more than I publish, which is probably best. ;-) I’ve blogged way longer than I thought I would. I’ve found some truly inspiring blogs to follow as I dipped my big toe in this dying art (so they say). I link to most of them.
It’s a journey and an outlet and a way for me to speak my mind when I need to and can’t, in the interest of best practice social grace, in the blogs I reservedly comment in.
I appreciate you stopping by because I love questions always make me think. Hope you come back!

    2. Oh for sure yes I plan to continue reading your blog. I was afraid you would think I was complaining or something. I’m not very good at saying what I mean. I would never be able to blog. I enjoy others though and I love the ones you have linked to. I bookmarked your site. I don’t subscribe to blogs because I don’t like a bunch of things coming to my email but I will pop in to see if you have anything new. Thank you!
